BLACK THEOLOGY IN THE LINEAR OF THE POETIC IMAGINATION OF SAMBA ENREDO OF MANGUEIRA

This essay is the result of discussions held at GT-Teologia e Negritude/FTL-Campinas where we seek to update the debate around the racialization, mission and theology of ecclesiastical communities, as well as to think about the processes of racial discrimination that exist today inside and outside the churches evangelicals, so that, as agents of the Kingdom of God, we can understand and bear these pains together. In this way, we intend to analyze the relevance and applicability of black theology and its Christology for the present day, especially its contribution to rethinking the church of Christ, its reach, its strength, its theology and also its procedure towards black people. The turbulent and paradoxical context that black communities face in relation to their full humanity within faith communities was one of the motivations for our thematic choice. For the fulfillment of our proposal, three movements served as a reflection guide: contextualization; analysis of the relationship between theology and poetic imagination; and finally, we present a proposal for a black “theopoetry”.
