A REVIEW OF INTEGRAL PNEUMATOLOGY THE MOLTMANN

Abstract

The proposal to synthesize Moltmann's integral pneumatology becomes possible based on the reference to the author's work The Spirit of Life. The book highlights two perspectives on the ministry of the person of the Holy Spirit: the soteriological and creative aspects, that is, the saving and creating Spirit, and therefore, the vital force and life-giver. In this sense, the article analyzes this central work of Moltmann's pneumatological and eschatological thought. The methodological path of the research includes a bibliographic review of this reference work, in addition to other books by the author on the subject, and also considers works by specialized theorists who have extensively debated the subject. The expected results of the research lie in the contributions of Moltmann's integral pneumatological and eschatological thought to Christian theology.
