FINANCIAL EDUCATION IN SCHOOL
POSSIBILITIES AND CHALLENGES FOR YOUR INSERTION IN THE CURRICULUM OF A COUNTRY SCHOOL

The theme of this study is the inclusion of Financial Education in the curriculum of the school of the field, suggesting methodological actions to achieve this purpose. The study was carried out through a qualitative approach, of the descriptive type, in which the pedagogical intervention type research was used, enabling the participation of teachers and students in the process of data production and proposition of solutions. The results point to the importance of working financial education in the curriculum of schools, enabling students to enjoy knowledge and knowledge that help them to project themselves as people with the ability to plan and manage their income, give an opinion on conscious consumption, personal, family, and social financial management, among other possibilities. In the scope of the researched school, there was consensus that the theme should be approached in a transversal, contextualized way, ensuring the articulation of school knowledge with the knowledge of peasant culture, exploring some instruments of Pedagogy of Alternation, such as the Study Plan, the Will and the Professional Project.
