Spaces and practices of sociability of the quilombola community on Fortunato Hill– Garopaba - SC

This article makes use of the memories of residents of the Community of Remnants of Quilombo Morro do Fortunato, located in the North of the city of Garopaba – SC, in the District of Macacú, seeking through the narratives to outline the events that made possible the group formation. Thus, the methodology of oral history is the theoretical basis that supports the study. It is important to remember that studies on the African-Brazilian theme took place in contemporary times because the African-Brazilian made up of different spaces with their habits, religion and work, developing since the early days of colonization an important role in the ethnic and cultural Brazilian formation.
