The article is the result of ongoing post-doctoral research that seeks to reconstruct and understand, from an interdisciplinary point of view, the discourse of Prosperity Theology regarding the demonization of spiritual entities and orixás of religions of African origin. Thus, to interpret the demonization of the other, the theoretical contribution of Kleinian psychoanalysis is used, with emphasis on the notion of Projective Identification.
