Abstract

This paper aims to illustrate the trajectory of struggle of the black youth in the spaces of the university, within a current perspective, tracing the profile of the anti-racist struggle that has emerged in Pelotas through the black collective group. The group has over a year of black culture-related activities in different spaces, such as cultural, educational and in the communication areas within and outside the Federal University of Pelotas. The group is distinguished, not just by being connected to the continuity of previous movements, but by being in a network of other young black students of other universities in the state. Thus we elaborated a small analysis of today’s black movement in Rio Grande do Sul.
