the territorial expropriations on Quilombos Sítio Novo/Linha Fão (1940-1960)

The objective of this study is to analyze and reconstruct the context in which occurred the expropriation and territorial obligation to the migration of some families of members of the communities remaining quilombos Sítio Novo/Linha Fão, localized in the municipality Arroio do Tigre/RS. The focus of this study will be the moment of loss of parts of the territory who takes that some families to slaves descendent became, for an indeterminate time, in itinerant black families, approaching that Mattos and Rios in a study about the trajectories of the last generations of freedman and their descendants who lived in southeast in Brazil denominated as itinerant black peasantry. Methodologically we are choosing to do a cross between oral sources and written sources, understanding that both are not hierarchical or opposing, but complementary.
