The right to quality education and racism in the school environment

The purpose of this text is the idea that the right to quality education is not only executed with a good physical structure, well-paid and qualified teachers. The curriculum content as well as the school environment are indispensable elements for thinking about quality teaching. In this sense, the text discusses the thesis that racism present from basic education to higher education constitutes a problem related to the quality of education. In this way, public policies and human rights are essential instruments in the fight against racism and the promotion of quality education.
