This article is the result of writing at a crossroads, developed through a series of dialogues between Ómò Ayó Òtunjá (nome da primeira autora) and Folaiyan (nome da segunda autora). Both graduated in Social Sciences from UFRGS, the first being a black woman and Yakekere/Yamoro and the second a white woman Yaô from the Muzunguê Nation, ritualistic practices of African origin experienced in the Kilombola Community Morada da Paz. Through the differences that constitute us, we started a writing process that resulted in the presentation of this article. The article deals with the trajectory of Ómò Ayó Òtunjá, as a collective subject that constitutes the experience of spirituality, followed by a description of her relationship with the University, a formal space of higher education, and with Multiversity, a project developed within the Kilombola Community Morada da Paz that implies a series of experiences of knowledge meetings.
